Switzerland in April, The People

This is my Tante Pia, Oncle Marco and my cousin Francesca. Francesca is a visual arts teacher at a high school outside Baden. She's the coolest cousin.

My mum and Tante Doris, taking a much needed walk in the spring air along the Limmat River in Baden. People have been walking along this strech of the Limmat for over a thousand years. Baden (literally meaning "bath") used to be the health and recuperation capital of Europe, and many rich traders and diplomats met there to enjoy the healing powers of the hot sulphur baths.
Francesca, cousin Christina and her boyfriend Hivi at my grandfather's funeral lunch. Over a hundered friends and family came to eat, drink and remember.

Cousin Stefan and Francesca's boyfriend Kai.

"The Aunts" Tante Ruth, Tante Trudi and Tante Rita. Quite the trio, let me tell you. They are my Grossmuetti's sisters, the Fischer family.
